The super-talented female rapper, Natasha Chansa, also known as Princess Natasha Chansa, has finally emerged on the Zambian music scene with her highly anticipated masterpiece record, which happened to be under the title ‘Bafana’. The word Bafana is a Bemba word that can be translated into English as ‘Young people’. It’s now close to a year since Natasha Chansa dropped a new song. This brand new song ‘Bafana’ is coming after her last released single, tagged ‘Far Away’, which featured a Copperbelt artist – Xaven, a highly talented and professional female rapper formerly signed to Nexus Music Entertainments Ltd. The song ‘Far Away’ also featured a fast-rising singer/songwriter – JC Kalinks, and is one of the most loved artists.
Natasha Chansa’s comeback song ‘Bafana’ features Zambia’s hardcore rapper Dizmo, who is currently signed to Apa Ili So Entertainments. This is the first time these two rappers have worked on a song together. It’s good to see how the Zambian music industry has grown with new artists who are promising to make it big in the music industry.
