Tommy D Opens Record Lable

Zambian multi talented legendary hit rapper and songwriter – Tommy D, has opened his own brand new record lable which is known as Mafela Music Group. For now it is not yet certain if he is still signed under M Beats Generations Music by Zambian hardcore music producer – DJ Mzenga Man. Most Zambian musicians have now started owning their own record lables and cancel the record deals they already had. Some of the first Zambian rappers to own their own record lables are Macky 2 and Slapdee. Slapdee opended XYZ Entertainments which has been running now for over 2 decades and Macky 2 first opened Kopala Swag Music.

Later on he opened other record lables such as Alpha Entertainments Music and Olijaba Entertainments. Hopefully this record lable will be successful, just like Jae Cash’s lable known as Apa ili So Entertainments has been running for some years now. It seems as time goes on, most Zambian record lables will run out of business because musicians will be rejecting record deals. This is because it usually does not end well as they reveal alot of bad treatment once they cancel the deal. Tommy D’s brand new record lable is just strating and he has not signed any other musicians currently, just like Yo Maps with Olios Records and Triple M’s Noti Atishani Entertainments.
