As we are approching the campaign period for the 2026 general elections. The United Part For National Delopment (UPND) governmenet, which is lead by Hakainde Hichilema also known as HH has pulled a first move of using one of the most influencial Zambian singer, Yo Maps, who finally released their first campaign banger titled “Aleteka”. UPND is the rulling government, and as it is now no opposition part seemed to be a threat to them. However, the song, Aleteka, is their best campaign song which they have so far.
The song, “Aleteka” also talks about unit and it encourages Zambians to relax/chill because the UPND government will rule again. Other Zambian citizens are already in support with the song, one of them said “But for this one if you know that you’re on opposition party aaaa this is the right time you to join upnd part cause it’s HH’s time (ndaba ni time ya HH) now cause when you hear yo maps sings like this ninshi apo HH untill 2099 to step down that chair..opposition akaba zoona”.
